Greenfield Construction is a Manawatu-based building company with a simple focus: turn up when we say we will, communicate clearly, and deliver quality work that lasts. We understand that many people have had frustrating experiences with contractors not returning calls, failing to provide quotes, or disappearing partway through the process. Reliability matters, and we take pride in being a team that follows through from the first conversation to the completed project.

Whether it’s a small repair, a bathroom renovation, a new deck, or a full farm building project, we take a practical approach and work closely with clients to make the process straightforward and stress-free.

What We Do

We can manage projects from the ground up, coordinating everything needed to keep the job moving efficiently. That includes organising subcontractors, working alongside other trades, and helping manage the overall project from planning through to completion.

Director

With over 20 years of experience in the building industry, Dave is the owner and driving force behind Greenfield Construction. His passion for quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and building lasting relationships has shaped the company into the trusted business it is today.

Jacob

Project Manager

Jacob began his apprenticeship with Greenfield Construction over 10 years ago and has grown alongside the company ever since. Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for building, he has progressed into the role of Project Manager and is now the person overseeing your project from start to finish.

Kerry

Qualified Builder

Kerry completed his building apprenticeship with us and is now a qualified builder, having developed his skills and experience through a wide range of building projects.

Jack

Qualified Builder

Jack joined the Greenfield Construction team in 2025 as a qualified builder, bringing valuable industry experience and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship. His practical approach, attention to detail make him a valuable asset on every project he is involved with.

Charlie

Apprentice

Charlie joined Greenfield Construction in 2024, coming straight from school and keen to begin a career in the building industry. Since starting his apprenticeship, he has shown a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn from every project.

Javaark

Apprentice

Javaark joined the Greenfield Construction team in 2025 and is currently completing his building apprenticeship. Coming from a strong farming background, he brings a practical work ethic and a willingness to get stuck into any task.

Hamish

Apprentice

Hamish joined Greenfield Construction at the beginning of 2026, stepping straight into the building industry after finishing school. Eager to learn the trade, he has embraced the challenges of an apprenticeship and enjoys seeing projects take shape from the ground up.

We are based in Feilding and carry out work throughout the wider Manawatū region, regularly servicing surrounding towns, rural areas, and lifestyle blocks. While the locations listed below are the areas we most commonly work in, we are not limited to these and are happy to travel for the right project depending on scope and requirements.
